NITDA Scholarship

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is partnering with Coursera to offer learning scholarships that will enable Nigerian citizens to obtain professional certifications from some of the world’s leading multinational tech companies (e.g. Meta, Google, IBM) and top ranked US universities. In this NITDA Scholarship, applicants are expected to select one certification program each from Category A and Category B that they wish to be enrolled in.
So NITDA Nigeria is calling for applications to participate in the certification program and obtain digital skill of their choice .

NITDA Scholarship Details:

Category A (IT Career Pathway) offers a total list of 19 professional certification programs in this present NITDA coursera scholarship cohort to help you kickstart a successful IT career. Each program is made up of a series of related courses focused on providing deep knowledge and hands-on skills required for employment. When you complete each individual course within the program, you will earn a certificate of completion. However, the professional certification will be earned when you have completed all the required courses in the program.

Category B (Complementary Skills Pathway) offers 4 certification programs in this NITDA scholarship for you to choose from to complement your IT career skills and enhance your use of digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, or freelancing skills.

Successful applicants will receive a Coursera license in their provided email in the form of a joining link. They will then be able to join the program and enroll on a course by clicking on that link.

Each scholar will have access to the Coursera license for a period of six (6) months. Scholars are expected to use this time to complete as many professional certifications as possible, but they can only be enrolled in one certification at a time.

Application Deadline:

The application period opens on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Eligibility(Who can apply):

This NITDA Coursera Cohort is open to all. Anyone can apply and be part of this certification program irrespective of your educational background and employment status.
