Students with strong background in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering are encouraged to review their website and apply for graduate studies in SGI group. Positions with limited funding are available for both doctorate and master levels on topics related to geochemical processes of waste material and anisotropic shear strength of sands.

Preferred qualifications (atleast one or more):
- Experiment experience (Prefer field scale)
- Experience with instrumentation and DAQ configuration
- Experience in numerical modeling
(FEM/MPM/Abaqus/Plaxis/coupled analysis) - Machine learning/computer vision
